Posting Rules Reminder - ALL MEMBERS MUST READ

Postby matt30822 » Mon Sep 14, 2009 2:29 pm

Guys - We need to be clear about something here. You are expected to read the CoC, Posting Guidelines and also any specific individual forum rules that section may have (if any).

There are two things that are happening more and more frequently and have to stop guys. This is just a friendly reminder for now but if it continues more serious action will be taken.

1) Check the date of the last post in the thread before you post. Reviving Dead threads or inactive threads is fine as long as it contributes something to the thread. A contribution is not "lolz" or "wdf" or "YAY". The post must be constructive and add something to it. Any posters who constantly do this will get a pm from the admins about it and generally posts will be deleted.

2) Try to avoid double posting. Double posting is acceptable when the last post was made about 2 days or older ago but any sooner and you should just edit it into the last post. Again Any posters who constantly do this will get a pm from the admins about it and generally posts will be merged together.

Guys an extraordinary amount of posts were made today by several members that drove threads extremely off-topic and didn't add anything to any of the threads. This isn't a warning but a friendly reminder for now, but please refrain from going overboard with the off-topic posting as it can leave some members with a 124 new posts to go through when they don't have much time to read the forums :)

We don't mind you taking theads off topic too much but today it was the same people taking many threads off topic at the same time. Please avoid this :)

Some posts were deleted as well as they were either off-topic, racist or had abuse in them. Please be careful what you post! :)
