can't get on ventrillo

last night I logged into vent as normal and joined a channel with darkness, a few minutes later my sound died and had to restart my computer.

now, i turned my computer back on, opened vent, clicked connect....."Connected to server but unable to authenticate your login name and password"... I tried re-entering the password...fail. made a new vent account...fail..

plz help
